Gigbag for a 994

Hello Tubenet,

The case of my band's Besson 994 is disintegrating to the point of being completely useless for transport. I was wondering if anyone here had experience with affordable gigbags that will fit this particular model.

I know there are several companies like Altieri that will make bags to measure, bot for the moment I'm more interested in bags that are readily available in Europe like
- Gard (which model, if any, fits?)
- Miraphone (does the BBb Ambassador bag take a 994?)
- Tom & Will?

Are there any other suggestions for bags that fit in the sub- €400 range?

Thanks for the input,
Michiel

The big Protech bag fit the one that our brass band owns. Although I dont think it was any easier to transport in such a big bag.

I cannot recommend Tom and Will.

Thanks for that, I will look in to it. (although buying in the US is not my first choice because of the dismal functioning of the Belgian customs 'service' and quasi-random hefty import taxes and fees, which means you never know when or if your shipment arrives and how much extra you have to pay)

Thanks, I can get the Protec here for a reasonable price. Any comments about its quality?
Our case lost its wheels twice, and they fitted metal reinforcements to hold alternative wheels so standard replacements won't fit anymore. Last week the handle broke, just before leaving for the Belgian national championships. Lugging that 50-60 lbs case uphill to the venue by the last remaining bit of handle was not something I'd like to do again soon.

Thank you, I'll strike that one from the list, there are enough alternatives.

Does anyone have experience with the Gard or Miraphone bags?
