Having played a Tuba Christmas with him once, I would fully agree with your assessment of the man.

I had the opportunity to correspond with him a little bit as we were putting together the ITEA giving page (http://www.iteaonline.org/community/con ... _index.php), and likewise found him to be unusually kind and a complete pleasure to work with. I'm looking forward to listening to these interviews over the next few evenings. Thanks for pointing them out.
