Is there a decent practice mute that doesn't completely stop up the horn?

I actually am liking the Silent Brass. The low range isn't particularly good with it in my Martin, but it's good enough that I can live with it. I don't use the electronics much, they are still only so-so, except for playing along with a recording.

I never liked my silent brass (for tuba) it's to big and to heavy.
For some years I am playing the schlipf mutes (also the practice mutes) now and
for me they're perfect.

I have, and use, the Denis Wick practice mute, and like it very much. I've tried the silent brass, and while it works well, I find the set up to be far more of a hassle to be worthwhile, compared to the Wick. Haven't tried the Schlipf mutes.
