Firstly apologies I don't normally put videos in this section of the forum.
Secondly apologies if this is not new to you.
But it contains an alpine horn tuba duet an example of the tuba mute apparatus and the best blend of music and comic genius I have seen in a long time.

I suspect all of them (especially the two shorter trumpet players, one of whom plays an absolutely beautiful clarinet!) to be geniuses. I'd say the same of the bass trumpeter but he scares me. :D

Is it me or is there a bend in the mouthpiece on the tuba? At 2:30 it shows a decent closeup.
Thomas Gansch's sendups of avant-garde music are always hilarious. :D

I thought maybe it was a tuning bit or an angle built into the leadpipe.

I believe this is an older video. Willie used to play a horn from Shagerl in Vienna that was modified for playing while standing and moving. He also uses a special belt made by this company http://members.aon.at/tubtub.at/page_2_1.html.
