It's not small.....32.6 (?) from top of my head
Ironically, it's a width I'm sporting more and more these days on my basstuba,
but I'm using 33.5 on my contra

Oh, ok - you just said it was too small, I thought you meant it had a small diameter!
It had a std. Am. shank and a 32.6(7?) cup diameter
Somehow reminded me a bit of the Helleberg 120, but larger bore and rim (cup)

Small?? Not
It is a 1930's Helleberg with a modification in the throat making it bigger.

I have a Canadian Brass Arnold Jacobs. Is that the same thing?
It's about the same size mouthpiece as a Schilke Helleberg II or a Laskey 30H, only with a lot larger throat.
The cup is more pear shaped than a typical helleberg.
The sound that comes out of it is brighter than a SHII or 30H.
Works well on a very dark tuba or a YCB621. Does tend to suck a lot of air out of you with its 8.5 mm throat.

I play on one. 'sOK. Like it a little bit more than the Mike Finn H it replaced. Kind of embarrassing to own, though.
Have a nice day.

Why do you say that?
Appeal to authority

I have the older Canadian Brass Arnold Jacobs mouthpiece (made by Terry Warburton before he began his own line of products.)
It worked well to get a clear sound out in the mid and high range and articulations seemed clean. I did not like how it wouldn't produce a decent low range for me. I could get the notes to sound as I wanted them to but it required shifting and more work than I felt necessary to produce a satisfactory result.
YMMV, of course.
