A few weeks ago, my Alex F has been stolen from my trunk (yeah, I know).
Probably the best horn I´m to put my hands on.

Replaced it by a used and worn MW 46S. Plays good, but with its bore being larger than my Willson´s it sounds kinda woofy.
Cool basement register, though.
I´ll really miss that clear, true F-tuba sound from a smaller horn, though.

One advice for You: in case You MUST keep anything in Your car, don´t use the remote key signal to lock. Someone might pick up that signal with electronic devices and simply tell Your car to open up when it´s "safe" to do so.
My car showed absolutely NO signs of force being used to open up (scratched lock, damaged window seals..), so the police figured they simply let themselves into my car this way.
They even stole car wash tokens I kept in my ash tray. Possibly thought those to be of value...

Sorry to hear about your loss, and here's hoping you get your horn back. I disabled the remote unlock feature of my car's trunk for this very reason. More than a half dozen times that I put it the parking garage at work, I returned at the end of the day to find my trunk open, with no signs of forced entry. Someone else parking close by could have had a remote that opened my trunk as well. I can live without that feature, and just use a key.

Good luck, and let us know if your get your axe back.
