Just wondering who will be making the trip down to San Antonio this year, any vendors known yet cause all I've found is the list from last years convention.

I believe this is what you seek: http://www.onlinefloorplan.com/tmea2013/exhibitlist.asp" target="_blank

Plenty of tuba stuff there to see...

Awesome. I'm glad to see the tuba exchange is on the list again this year been wondering how their tubas play. I'm surprised that Wessex won't be making an appearance at TMEA this year.

However many different examples of Jinbao horns are there I don't foresee myself any amount of considerable time with them other than to just fool around and compare how they play against their original counterparts from my own personal experience. However I am extremely interested in what custom music will have to offer this year. Everyone I've talked to says they bring out the whole fleet for tmea every year so I'm assuming this will be my best bet for a one stop shop. I'm also wondering how many different vendors will have the Adams CC tuba other than at the Adams booths of course and the proximity to a stand with Hirsbrunner tubas will be.

I'm registered for the convention. I'll probably take the long, 14 mile trip south, and cruise the exhibits, make some of the sessions, etc.

Thanks for the info on the horns from last years convention bloke. However I'm in the market for a small 4/4 CC tuba. Good to see that they will have a wide variety of horns available at the B&S booth. I did notice that the Buffet group will have booths there, any speculation on whether or not they will have some tubas at their booth this year.

I've been leaning towards the more boutique German horns in sound for my ears. I hope that B&S will bring down a couple of 4/4 sized horns, has there been any vendors with the more exclusive horns like gronitz or Hirsbrunner around. I know that custom is a Hirsbrunner dealer but I don't know how many if any they will bring down to the convention.

I won't be there, but I doubt there will be any weeping on anyone's part.

I'm not sure you got word of this, but there will be a short serice mourning your absence. It will be at 2:30 a.m., on Thu., right in front of the Alamo. In Texas, we care!
