Congratulations to Ben Thompson who is the new Principal Tuba at Covent Garden. The list of players on trial was immense. Ben is currently in the tuba chair at the BBC Scottish Orchestra.

Great player, and more importantly, great bloke. Still tries to play with Brass Bands over here when he can too.
Didn't know how public this was so haven't posted, I believe he starts in September.
