I realize that this topic may seem like beating a dead horse but I was reading several threads on Euro shank vs. the American style shank and there were a couple of terms that I was unfamiliar with. One being the mouthpiece "bottoming out" how would you define this? Would it be to where this is no wiggle room between the mouthpiece and receiver because I have several mouthpiece that seem like they do bottom out in the receiver but in all actuality they are the same shank size as my other mouthpiece that does have that wiggle. What I am actually asking I guess is for some to throw it out there in layman's terms for me as to what I am searching for with proper mouthpiece depth and seating in the receiver.
