Appreciation

I know a few of the Memphis pros are here at one time or another, and I wanted to say thanks for a performance of the Memphis Symphony last weekend (2/23/13). My wife and daughter had tickets for the performance, and completely enjoyed the performance. They came home at 11:00 pm (1.5 hour trip 1 way from house to Canon Center) humming themes to the concert selections, and I am pleased to say that they were humming Mars and Jupiter as opposed to Star Wars themes.
Most exiting in the renditions was my daughter's recognition and my wife's new found love of Venus.
Sometimes we forget that the regional symphonies bring us music that we can't access in the local orchestras due to size and instrument restrictions.
Thanks to the symphony for a quality performance.
