That's the same bugle as on the 6/4 Martin CC that Joseph Agnew is selling:

If my memory serves me right, the bugle on Agnew's tuba is even larger than Big Bob's. I think it's the most massive instrument that I've ever seen in person.

Here's my new BBb horn from Tabor. It's next to a Yamaha 641 for reference.

Nice! I forget, is it a York/King combo?

It's a King and Holton combo I believe with a bell from a Getzen G-50

I can't believe I've failed to post mine. The first was just a Bach 3-valve that needed a new bell. Dan Shultz made one for me from a Conn stack and Blessing flare:

I did the initial build of combining a King body and valveset with a Holton Monster Eb bell and bottom bow:

I then sent it off to Dan Schultz for dent removal and other tweaking. It's my main horn for the foreseeable future. I like it!

This is my favorite CC that I've owned. If you need to know my history just ask. This is a York, King, Reynolds CC if I'm remembering correctly. Amazing piece of plumbing. Need a super solid and gorgeous sounding horn contact group member Tabor.

Just to clarify the components of this instrument: The bell is Cerveny, the branches are Martin, the valve cluster consists of 3 King valves and a Conn 4th valve. The rotor is Meinlschmidt.

Here is another photo or two. The top is a king/York built by another member of TubeNet. It is a spectacular instrument. It is hanging out with a York Master fitted with an old Conn bell. (Thanks to Lee Stofer for that ferrule)

The other photos are also of tubas.

Thanks :-)
I sold it a year ago and soon realized. That was not one of my brightest moment.
Called him up some month later and said. IF you ever are to sell it, I'll take it back for the same price as you paid.

That time just arrived :tuba:
