A few years ago I visited Gronitz to try out some of his tuba's.
I played on a C and a Es tuba.
They sounded wonderful,played well allover.
Huub, by the way, looking for another tuba now?
In to Gronitz?
Greetings
Frank

hello Huub,
sorry it took so long to reply.
In the last weeks I had almost no time to visit this forum.
About my Cd:The first 5 pieces are recorded now.
In may and june we hope to record the rest of the Cd.
Lets hope the recording will come out in November. I promise you that by the time I let you know.
The first part of the recordings where held in december.
We recorded Elegy, a new piece for solo tuba written by Ben Haemhouts.Air on a g string and Badinerie (Bach recorded with trombone 4) and 2 new pieces for tuba/cimbasso with jazz ensemble.
Hope to hear from you again,
Greetings
Frank

Has anyone played both the Gronitz Eb and the large piston 5V Willson (model 3400), to offer comparison impressions?
Thanks,
