Kudos to Lee Stofer

This is a very tardy public accolade to Lee. Last April, after months of emails and telephone calls, I purchased (as a retirement present to me) one of Lee's Kanstul 900-4v BBb horns and an MTS case. Lee graciously allowed me to trade-in my two horns (accessories) as part of the arrangement as well as meeting me halfway in Paducah, Kentucky with the horn and case. I didn't play test the horn at the motel due to sleeping construction workers in several rooms. Turns out it didn't matter :) (BTW, Starnes Barbeque in Paducah is doggone good, especially if one likes it well-smoked.)

Lee offered sage and sound advice (as well as helpful suggestions) regarding the meshing of what I wanted, how I played, and which one of his horns would accommodate my budget the best. Throughout the process his honesty, professionalism, and modesty were always evident. (We are currently discussing some mods to the Kanstul due to my cervical bone spur and herniated lumbar discs.)

One character trait that struck me immediately when I met him in person was his gentlemanly countenance. His word is definitely his bond, his business dealings are above reproach. Lee is a shining example of the consummate professional.

I have had six financial transactions with fellow TubeNetters, all have been flawless, met several, and corresponded with a few dozen. Each and every experience has been positive, except when I obliterated Jonathan's (Neptune) fluorescent light tube  .
