Hi Tubenetters

As a surprise at a friends party, I wanna play two to three shorter classical pieces together with two other tubists. All of us are not professional players, we play tuba as a hobby.

I tried to find some sheet music on the internet, but I didn't much arrangements for trio. Most music I found was for tuba duet or tuba quartet.

Could you suggest us some pieces easy arranged for three tubas? And where I can buy it?

Thanks!!

On the light side of classics, but very much suited for parties:

Im tiefen Keller. German drinking song set for Low Clarinet Trio, Bassoon Trio, and Tuba Trio. All settings are compatible, and the instrumentation can be mixed, if you observe the different part distributions in the last two bars.

Wide range in 1st tuba

Here are some trios: http://www.bvdpress.com/brass/tuba/tuba ... /tuba-trio and you can print most online. I think most are two euphoniums plus one tuba. However, the euph parts on some are not too high for tuba. I've played the Sea Chanty and Red RIver Valley. They are fun and not too difficult. I realize those two aren't classical pieces; but some of the others on this page are. Ludus is for three tubas; but it is not easy for the trio nor is it easy for a non-tuba-player audience.
