Just out of curiosity, If a person wanted to become a professional truck driver and and decided to be an owner-operator, how much would a really good big rig cost? For that price, would it drive itself?schlepporello wrote:In my opinion, a $40,000 tuba had better be able to play itself and make me sound like I have "world class sound".MrHidan30 wrote:When you really get to it when you buy a tuba that isn't custom and is $20,000+ USD your simply paying for a brand in my opinion. But, I've never tried one of those magical $40,000 tubas so I can't tell about their supposed magical properties other than I think their not real.
In my opinion a $40,000 dollor horn better fetch me a beer and do my laundry as well as play like a dream.schlepporello wrote:In my opinion, a $40,000 tuba had better be able to play itself and make me sound like I have "world class sound".MrHidan30 wrote:When you really get to it when you buy a tuba that isn't custom and is $20,000+ USD your simply paying for a brand in my opinion. I live in farm country. John Deere GPS towers have sprouted all over the place around here. Buy a good combine, seeder, s**t spreader, whatever these days and yes, it will drive itself. Plus it will know how much s**t to put down when and ... well you get the idea.Mark wrote:Just out of curiosity, If a person wanted to become a professional truck driver and and decided to be an owner-operator, how much would a really good big rig cost?
