Yet another Wisemann thread...

With the endless arguments regarding C-word instruments, I thought I might try to do something slightly more productive than start another ant mill that would ultimately get either locked or deleted, so I recorded a brief demo of the new Wisemann CC tuba this afternoon. Please keep a couple of things in mind before you give a listen. First, this was purely an act of boredom. I didn't practice any of these excerpts ahead of time, so be kind with your comments! And second, I have no clue how to edit video--just ignore how choppily everything was put together!
Cheers!

Sounds good up to mf. Louder dynamics introduce some oddly strong overtone responses of some notes.

I have experienced the same from the 7XX-version of the UK made Besson 982/983 back in 1999 while I waited for my 983 to be made. The main bugles were the same, but the 7XX was less well capped and wired on the outer bows and branches.
