They also list a new 5/4 Rudi Meinl for $2700. About 1/8 the going price or so. I'd certainly avoid them.

The address is in Indonesia, I think on the island of Sumatra.
Interesting that PayPal is one of their payment options . . .

So is this place a scam or not? Does anyone know? It would be awesome to get a 5/4 RM for that cheap.

And given the exchange rate, and that those prices are most likely SGD, the prices are even more amazing. Who's the tubist in the Singapore Symphony now? Anyone have contact with him/her?

I'll just note that in the wristwatch replica business out of Asia, it's common to advertise the brand being copied as though they were selling the genuine item. So just because they're advertising, e.g., a Rudi Meinl doesn't mean the horn they're selling was actually made by Rudi Meinl. Caveat emptor.

I went as far as to put a horn in my 'cart,' just to see what shipping costs would be and they wanted $215 to ship to Maryland. The site is only about 3-4 months old and it isn't trustworthy. Whoever said that they could be copies is probably right on.
