Recently I heard Roger Bobo's recording of Encounters II by William Kraft and I couldn't help but wonder if there is an Encounters I. If not, any idea why it's called Encounters II?
I know it's an odd question, but I'm just curious.

there was also a series concerts titled Encounters which Kraft was involved with somehow.
