Any experience with Shure Beta 98H/C mic?

As the title says, I'm curious to know if anyone out there has experience using the Shure Beta 98H/C mic with their tuba. In particular, I'd like to know if the clip is big enough to accommodate the lip on most tuba bells, or if something bigger would be needed. I know the mic itself has a decent sound (and a frequency response wide enough to pick up most of the operating range of the tuba), but I'm still a little hesitant about the clip. I remember using them with saxophones back when I worked as a recording tech, but that's been a few years and I can't remember how big the clip was. Here's the mic in question: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Beta98HC/

Thanks,
Aaron H.

It's the new version of the SM98 and not a bad choice for live tuba, though there are cheaper, more pedestrian mics that will get the job done, too...like an SM57 which would save you about a $100.

Every now and then someone will ask me to come up with one for a show. Typically they drop them down the bell, but the clip is big enough to go on the rim of a tuba bell.
