Maybe either the clear plastic tuba somebody here built, or the Carsberg Beer tuba?
A functional glass Eb tuba I have not seen all the years I have been here.

the elephant wrote:No. It was an actual tuba made of glass. The photo was of it with a brownish-red background and you could see through it. We discussed the valves for a long time, several times on the old TubeNet. Brian, this was pretty old re-hash stuff back then. I remember it being very interesting in 1998. I have the photo somewhere, but looked and cannot find it. Sorry, man. I will keep looking. It was made by some guy in Europe, maybe Switzerland? Cannot remember. Very bad photo, however. It was small and low resolution, not well focused.
Was this a functional, blatt-making tuba?

The clear plastic one was built by Brian Kane (aka goodgigs), the OP, by the way. He probably already has a picture of that one, heh.
