Practic mute advice needed!

So a couple of years ago, one of my teachers told me that he used a practice mute for a couple reasons. 1. It was quiet and he could play with it in his apartment, even at night. 2. It helped with air flow and it made playing licks easy after practicing them with the mute. and 3. It helped him produce a better tone. There were more reasons but those 3 are the big ones. So, naturally, wanting to get better, I purchased a Dennis Wick tuba practice mute that fit my Getzen CB50. I loved that mute and I got extremely better after using it. Problem is that after a year, I traded that horn for my current PT20. The Dennis Wick practice mute just didn't fit this horn right and I never could get it to feel or play right so I sold that mute and I'm currently looking for a new one. I'm currently looking between the Trumcor mutes and a Humes and Berg mute. I've never played either and I don't know if they would fit my horn... I read somewhere that the Humes and Berg mute was meant for tubas with bell's up to 18" (not sure how accurate that is though)... I would really appreciate any advice or recommendations!!
Thanks!
