Is miniball linkage the same as uniball linkage?

So is the Uniball brand a miniball type system?

You can get them less expensively at a hobby store, especially one that carries remote controlled model vehicles, than you can from Miraphone.

I always thought that the minibal links were the little tiny metal ones and the uniball links were the larger ones as used on Meinl Weston and B&S tubas these days.
