For me, the best method book is Roger Bobo's Mastering the Tuba (either edition). It is truly a "fundamentals" book in that his focus is on establishing breath/air/wind control while doing exercises. It is written in treble clef so it will be an easy transition keeping cornet fingering - actually since so many of the exercises follow a "open", "2nd valve", "1st valve", "1 and 2", etc pattern the fingering issue is pretty insignificant.

I agree. Follow it up with some Blazevich and Bordogni and you will be doing great.

Try J.W. Pepper, www.jwpepper.com or Hickey's, www.hickeys.com They both carry a wide variety of method books.

Try Robert King for a few of them.
