It's a Conn, it's old and it has rotors.
Please help me identify this horn with as much info as possible. One rotor is misaligned, so it's not playable and the key cannot be determined. Where can the serial number be found?
Also, what is the approximate value of this? I know one pic cannot determine this, but maybe a range.
Thanks for your help!
Ted

Re: What is this?
Looks like a 'project' horn to me. The bugle is Conn alright. But... someone has attempted to mount a European valve section on. Everything just looks wrong.

Re: What is this?
Conn made rotary tubas as Custom models. Valves could have been from Schmidt...the one now in a private collection has front loading rotors...too much tubing in the back.

I'm posting for a friend. The horn is a family piece and currently in storage. I don't know dimensions.
