I just dug out my wife's Flute/C Picc part for the Clifford Barnes arrangement. It only has two flats.

I know that the youth band bought the Barnes version because it's easier, but the Pops band has the original because that's what we have (old dogs....). Strange thing is, come Remembrance Day when the bands get together, they always forget the keys are different. The combination is interesting, to say the least (so far, the problem has always been found in the Masonic Hall, before setting out on the march, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed: that event is always organised military style - order, counter-order, total dis-order.

Thanks!

I'm playing it on Saturday, and just purely hate sight-reading even fairly easy pieces in a performance. I've played the original, but not this one. At least now I know what to expect.
