Hello all!

I'm trying to find a 5/4 Rudy Meinl CC tuba to try out. If anyone in Southern California owns one (or knows where one is and can point me to it) and wouldn't mind letting me test-drive it for a half-hour or so, I'd really appreciate it.

Or...I'll be driving cross-country next week (LA to Winnipeg, Canada). Anyone between here and there that can accomodate me with said request, I'll gladly buy you lunch.

E-mail me at: scotuba@hotmail.com.

Thanks!

Steve Oberheu

Last time I saw him Chris Popperwell played on one. I haven't seen him in years, but if he's still around and you can find him, I'm sure he'd let you blow on his horn.

Steve...

If you're in the area and would like to try another large rotary horn, you're more than welcome to swing by and try my Mirafone 190 CC (Tommy Johnson's old horn). It's currently up for grabs.
