What is the differences of Adams F-solo & F-concert tuba ?

Bore and bell size, I believe. The F-solo is .708 with a 420mm bell, while the F-Concert is .748 with a 450mm bell. The solo model also has a slightly heavier valve block. There might be some price discrepancies as well, but expect upwards of $10k

I played both of these back to back in Frankfurt this year. Both of these horns are stellar but different. The concert horn was very dark sounding (lots of fundamental in the sound) and fairly broad sounding. This horn would make a great cc tuba sub or be a great quintet horn. The solo, on the other hand, is in my opinion the best F tuba ever made. Very colorful sound. Super easy to play up high and a solid low register. Try these before buying. The lead pipe angles are pretty different between them. I didn't find them uncomfortable but I could easily see them not being comfy for all. If you got the money go to the factory as them have many many options to choose from. For whatever it's worth I also found the F tubas to play pretty differently from their CC tubas.
