I have a friend who is trying to sell this horn for a family member and would like some idea of value. Not a trombonist, but I may know some people here who are. I searched tubenet and was able to find only this, by Bloke:
If you can stumble into a nice older King "Tempo" (nickel-plated with some brass-lacquered parts and a CURVED bell brace) those are actually King 'professional' model 2B trombones (.491" bore) 'in disguise'.

The 'intermediate' model King F-attachment trombones (607F/608F/609F) actually feature King 'professional' model 3B bell sections (sans the curved bell brace) and larger-than-3B slide sections (.525" bore, rather than the 3B-size .508" bore).
The model number of my friend's trombone seems to indicate F-attachment and he says it is in rose brass.
Any idea of value?
Thanks!
