I stopped by there last week but that might be the one horn I didn't try. Sorry. Matt was out at lunch, too. Maybe the next time I pass through.

I wound up trying the Rudy Meinl out when I visited Dillon's not too long ago. I'm not really sure how useful my input is, but for what it's worth, the horn was very nice. It was very responsive, and I liked the sound that I got from it. I'm not a C tuba player, so I didn't test it out for too long, but I was able to play some scales and simple tunes and everything felt and sounded pretty nice. From what I remember, I wasn't overly impressed with the valves, but I'm not too experienced with rotory valves. They worked just fine, but I remember being impressed with the valves on a Miraphone that I tried out much more. I'm not entirely sure what you were looking to hear, but I hope I helped a little bit!
