Will a large ProTec bag fit a King 1241 with 22" up bell?

It won't fit well. That large PT bag is enormous, much bigger than your King I believe. This big bag fits a tuba as big as a Miraphone 190 Kaiser, but is too big for most any other tuba that I've seen.

Nice to hear from you Steve. "Acceptable/good enough/better than no bag" is the goal here. I'm even willing to put in some blocks of foam if needed. 
If I end up keeping the horn long term, I'll invest in a Cronkhite bag.
