Kalison

I do not own one but I, along with 2 co-workers, did play one at the Army Tuba Conference. It was at the Tuba Exchange booth. THAT thing is pretty darn nice for the money. I was very surprised. It seemed to have an open-feeling low end also.

Didn't own it, but I test played one to advise a friend if it was a worthy purchase for her. At the time I played a MW 182 F. The horns played very similarly. In many ways I actually preferred the Kalison. It is definitely itty bitty, but not a bad horn. fwiw, I did advise this person to purchase the instrument and she is quite happy with it.
