I'd like to publicly thank Bloke for doing some excellent repair work on my F tuba! Somehow the top bearing plate (the one that isn't supposed to come out of the valve...) on my first valve was knocked out of vertical and horizontal alignment. Essentially it came off of the casing. Not a very common problem, eh? He completely rebuilt the entire first valve over the course of a few hours and packed the tuba up for a 1000 mile trip back home. I'm very pleased with his work! I played my F tuba for 2 hours yesterday and it is in even better mechanical shape than it was before! Thank you Bloke!
