Via my signature you will find a number of arrangements of Bach's Air (14-piece brass, organ with various brasses or woodwinds, saxophone 4-tet, and uploads not fully completed: brass 4-tet.

The tune of Bach's Air from the 3rd suite is famous. The bass line with its dramatic wide leaps may meet less awareness, but in my opinion it is part of the overall effect of the Air.

Unless a BBb tuba plays in its extreme top range, it will be hard to keep the bass line below the melody.
