Recording bell for W. Meinl-Weston CC Bill Bell model

Post by tubathehutt »

I have a W Meinl-Weston CC 4v (Bill Bell model) with a detachable bell; I have the original upright bell, but I'd like to find a forward-facing bell. Any help out there?
Thanks in advance.

It's in the shop now, so I'm not able to provide dimensions. I wonder if any were ever made since I've never come across one. Thanks for the suggestion.

One of these? I think I determined that this horn was a Meinl model 33 CC. The detachable bell was engraved Meinl Weston - Division of Getzen.

I may have a set of bell collars for one of these. Measure yours when you get it back and let me know the circumference of the bell tenon.
