Hey, I play professionally and I'm down to Earth. I don't even have the 'professional' tag on my Tubenet posts. I even talk to non professionals. I must be a OK.

I've played trombone in a couple of local big bands with John Marcellus from Eastman School of music. Benge used to give him horns just so they could say he played one of theirs. He is one of the most down to earth modest people I've ever met. The guy just loves to play, sometimes you'll show up at a free gig with a community group to find that John is subbing. Some of the best musicians I've had the opportunity to play with have also been some of the nicest. Although I have met a few prima donnas over the years who think they're gods gift to music I find that to be the exception.
