Yorkbrunner Prices

Hello All!

I was just curious about something. Lately on tubenet, I've noticed that there are guys selling Yorkbrunners. Some post pictures, some don't. I've heard nothing but great things about these and personally can't wait until I finally try one. However, with the condition some of these horns are in, how are people able to sell them used in such condition at prices over 12,000?

Just a curious tuba player always wanting more knowledge.

Thanks guys!

Well, if you don't mind spending a fair bit more than that, you could always order a new one:

Plating wear from a couple of decades of use does not equal bad condition. It is purely cosmetic.
I would snap up the early handmade model with the retrofit rotor in a heartbeat if I had the cash; that price is a steal.
