Holton Sousaphone 4th Valve Repaired! PICS

Hi all.
We all like pics right?
Kinda got lucky with my minimal tool set up. Small enough work that a small butane torch got parts hot enough. Comparing this valve to the other three, it may be that this one was already repaired. Originally I thought I'd cobble together a plate and stem but since this part came out and apart easily, it was nice to keep the stem removable. I replaced the soft solder joint between stem and plate with silver braze and soft soldered part to valve. It's strong; I'm about certain the stem would break at threads before the soft solder joint came loose. Alignment is acceptable though in the close up you can see a slight gap between stem and threaded hole. Lining up the plate and nut wasn't easy.
Clearly I have too much time on my hands but this was a project I needed to get done. All pics here:
