The 2013 Long Island Tuba & Euphonium Day is scheduled for Friday, November 1 at Smithtown High School West, located at 100 Central Road. Rehearsals and clinics begin at 3:30, and the main concert begins at 7 PM with warmup by Bob Barta's Sunnyland Jazz quartet with John Klumpp, Bob Hovey, and Art Hovey. This year's guest artist will be Philip Sinder, Professor of Tuba and Euphonium at Michigan State University.
