TubeNet

I heard the Western Michigan University Brass Quintet and Gaudete Brass Quintet tonight in performance. Some great playing by all but Jacob Cameron and Scott Tegge both did a super job of playing. The two groups performed separately and then premiered a new piece by Anthony Plog for double quintet called Antiphonies. Contemporary but very listenable with some very nice tuba writing. If you get a chance to hear either of these groups take it.
