I joined the faculty of Seattle Pacific University in 2012. It has been a real pleasure becoming part of the SPU community. We have 100% placement rate for our Music Education graduates. If you are interested in studying music at a Christian college, I encourage you to look at SPU. There are lots of opportunities for music majors and non-majors alike.

In addition to our great brass faculty, we recently hired euphonist Danny Helseth as our director of bands. SPU is a great Christian college for tuba and euphonium.

We are located in the heart of Seattle on Queen Anne Hill minutes from McCaw Hall, downtown, and some really cool neighborhoods (Freemont, Ballard. . .).

The new Nickerson Studios are amazing. I tried out the acoustics today and was really impressed! State of the art facility with a state of the art music technology lab. We have the only undergraduate music therapy program in the state and a great music technology program too!
