At my school we have an odd top action 3 piston 3/4 size tuba by amati kraslice keyed in BBb on this tuba the second valve tube is actually 1 to 2 inches shorter then my 4/4 tubas tube the other tubing is shorter to, now is this normal on a 3/4 tuba. i was also thinking that it might not be a BBb tuba but it plays to low and is to big to be a Eb tuba the option left besides BBb is CC but when do you ever see a 3 piston CC tuba. its most likely its a BBb tuba but the shorter tubing raised some questions.

Possibly this one, then:

(they used the same picture for both horns, so one isn't correct, but I have no idea *which* one ... sorry)

I missed the additional BBb slide with the CC -- sorry 'bout that! Makes sense. You'll need to pull the other three slides out far enough to be in tune with the BBb main slide (assuming they're the right lengths for the CC main slide, which they should be).
