Tuba names

I certainly haven't been playing tuba for as long as some people on here, but it seems to me that tubas having model names instead of just numbers is a recent fad. I think it works too, I loved to name Neptune when I played one a while ago. Am I forgetting any names from this list:
The Neptune
The Fafner
The Fasolt
The Baer
The Kodiak
The Tuono
The Thor
The Sassy
The HoJo
The Firebird
The Petroushka
The Bruckner
The Siegfried
I'm not counting "Piggy" as it was/is a nickname I think. And where is "The Valkyrie"??

Yes, there was the Donatelli model Conn, the Helleberg Conn, the Bayreuth model Rudolf Meinl (used annually at the Bayreuth Festival), the Daryl Smith model Kalison, the Harvey Phillips model Conn, and the William Bell model Meinl-Weston. I'm sure there are others.

Sure, but what did Siegfried, Thor et al. do to get their names on a tuba? They didn't even exist! They sound like the names of Wagner tubas.

I assume Godzilla was your idea, but that would be a good one for the high end Yamaha CC, wouldn't it?

Let us not forget the Mammoth! And I must mention my late friend and colleague Bob Roig who named his prized tuba Floyd.
