Well, with Christmas Eve coming and a brass group shrunk to 4, we were in danger of not playing on Christmas Eve. But what to our wondering ear should appear, "Christmas Carols for Brass Quartet" arranged by Wade Rackley. We had the trumpet, the horn, the trombone and the tuba, so off we were to practice. With comments of, "you know these sound pretty good and these are fun," we are playing them in Church tonight. Now our next gig is December 26th. We play for the homeless while they get breakfast served at the local Salvation Army. We will have 5 there, but are choosing to use the same music. Thanks Wade for saving Christmas and making the homeless a little happier.

Yeah these are great....just nice arrangements that are very well done and very playable and listenable. We ended up with a trio this year because our tuba had family obligations, but we've read through them and found them to be wonderfully suited to the occasion.

We have enjoyed playing these at the "Winter Revels" locally; great fun, and pretty easy to get together for our average group. No pros here, at least in the musician field. They are great fun to play.

I need to say 'thank you' too. Three years ago after Wade made these available (quintet), our group of three euphs, horn, T-bone and tuba have played these at a local library each year. Wade warned us that some of the harmonies may not work out since the euphs (playing trumpet part) are an octave lower than intended — and I think there are two arr that don't work because of that. These are always received very well. I think the crowd's favorite is "Carol of the Bells". We're always mindful to give Wade credit for these as he requested.

Thank you.

I too would like to thank you very much for your time and hard work. I'm in an amateur quintet, and your music has helped our humble group out many times now. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
