Hi-
Actually, I am waiting for a 'travel cimbasso'--the peg fits on your knee, not the floor, and also the 'quadruple' cimbasso--4 sets of pipes and 9 valves allowing you to play in BBb, CC, Eb, and F....

Hey - it's on the way!

I've got a couple old didges and a busted up bassoon and a very rustic trombone bell in the parts bin which should make a good ole blowable wall decoration.

Now joe, after all the work I went to to you get you up to the multitudinous kiloreply level with your post about how tubas were hated; are you now saying they were not so bad after all?

I could become manickiniquely depressed about having been so tubally dedisilloussillionsed!

HELP, DP, put an end to all this - bring on the beer girls.

Those clever Italians then immediately named it after another country to confuse us all, the Russian Bassoon! 8)

The true cimbasso is a weird-*** instrument, likely because it was invented by italians.

And in fact also other weird-*** thing were invented by italians, like opera, pizza, and so on!
