I am looking to change my outdated clip on mic system. I use it on my CC tuba and my BBb sousaphone. Any suggestions?

I did a sound gig last weekend requiring 18 wireless mics. We tried to use the newer digital systems by a company known more for their guitar amps than wireless mics and had serious issues finding open channels even after taking down all the wireless access points in the building. With 12 systems I could only find two open channels that were consistently available. Even then the usable distance was very short and they ate batteries (around 2 hours per set). Sound quality wise they were okay for spoken word but seemed a little compressed for singing.
We went back to some analog Shure ULX systems and were able to run all 18 channels well, with very little signal loss and the batteries lasted around 6-8 hours. Antennas were the Shure 'paddle' style.
The Shure WB98H/C should work well with tuba and it isn't big enough to change the balance of the horn. It's essentially a wireless version of a beta 98.
The sound quality of these systems is a balance between amount of compression used between the transmitter and receiver, the quality of the mic element in these systems and the available frequencies - all have an effect.
Good luck
