Have fun with that. I just finished a concert of Brahms 2 twelve days ago and for the first time in my experience, I tried using a bass tuba on the work. It really was a lot of fun and I felt it worked incredibly well. I think I'll use bass tuba on that piece from now on. Enjoy!

Ditto, I played it for years on C tubas of varying sizes, and on large Eb's (which worked very well) - last time on F and it sat much better.

Made the same discovery his week with Till, fantastic on F tuba!

Bravo, Bloke!

I just finished listening to your broadcast rehearsal of Brahm's 2. You played beautifully. Your sense of ensemble blend is superb. You have a good concept of the tuba as Brahms uses it.
