Miraphone 186 leadpipe size question

Does anyone know if Miraphone is putting larger leadpipes on the 186 CC these days (as opposed to 70's and 80's)?
If so, I'm wondering if using a older 186 leadpipe on my new 186 would bring it closer to the older Miraphone tubas I love so much?
What do you folks think?
