Well I can say that in general UMI has seemed to clean up some sloppy production issues with their Conn 5xJ's (as has been said on this board before) so I would guess that the king has probably gone through similar times, although I can not speak first hand. It just seems to make sense since both horns share many pats in common, so i would think quality control would affect both.? However owning one of the original Conns I would not trade it for a brand new one if someone offered it to me tomorrow-guess I got lucky.

Does Dillons still sell the new King 2341?

I can't find it on their website anymore.

Who else in the Northeast or Ontario area carries King tubas?

2341

A couple of high schools around here have bought some recently and they are quite good. I would take a 2341 BBb over the 56J CC.
