Joe, My King's first valve got sticky and after about a month. It was built in 2001. There were scratches running top to bottom so we polished it and it was OK for awhile but soon began to stick again. I think you may have made reference to this in another thread about another make of horn but there were burrs on the groove that the valve guide moves in and after their removal it hasn't stuck since. I also had the same situation with a Meinl Weston 2155 with the same remedy and result. Ed

Do they make MAW valves for 2341s? And how did you smooth out the groove?

I believe I read a post here several years ago about the King valves where the claim was made that there was no bevel on the top edge of the piston, and that that was the defect causing the problem. Could that have a bearing on this conversation?
