I was there that evening, among the on-stage seats. Quite a night for organ, too. It is a magnificent instrument.
Carol, of course, was magnificent, too. She played as usual--superbly-- and did it standing in high heels. She will be soloing in the 2015 season, doing the full piece this was taken from.
This is a very nice meet-and-greet they do for the public each year and Seguin is a perfect host, being quite colloquial and approachable. The guy just has that charisma thing!

That would make a "must own" recording. If it goes to air, somebody please alert us to it.

WOW! And dig the waistband strap that doesn't impede her posture or breathing. With high heels yet. Ed

Is that the same kind of strap that Willi Brandstotter uses?
I've never lived more than 150 miles from Philadelphia, and I can count the number of times I've been on one hand. This would make it worth going again.

Yes, it appears to be: but, hers is a lot smaller!
If you haven't been to the Kimmel for an orchestra concert you have really missed a wonderful experience, especially with Seguin conducting. He is terrific and the players seem to love playing for him. My buddy has seats just below the organ, on the first row overlooking the brass and tympani. You get to watch everything, including the conductor close-up. I do enjoy when he can't make it!
